Braving bumpy seas the Mollard family (Potomac MD) John,Laura, Anna and Eric had an action packed morning fishing the reef with Capt Kevin, Glen & boat dog Chloe! John and Eric tag teamed the big reel and fought this 44 lb kingfish with a vengeance! They all kept busy reeling in their limit of yellowtail. A great day if fishing was had by all!

Persistence paid off for the Adams family.  After tracking us down at Geiger Key Marina  Grandpa John Adams, son Nick Lemke and grandsons Owen and Graham show off their limit of snapper caught on an afternoon trip to the reef w Capt Kevin,boat dog Chloe and Glen Mulder.

Always a pleasure to have veterans on the boat. Friends Robb Gustafson(Rosebush MI) along with Clint Hines(ArcadiaFL) and stepdaughter Kayla and hubby  Andy Mogg (MI) limited out in 2 hrs with yellowtail. Andy released a shark. Andy also got a full workout reeling in this 37 lb king mackerel.

Visiting FL for a wedding that almost was, Patrick Cook & Kelly Fortune (Ft Worth Tx) took a road trip from Orlando to Fort Pierce, and then a last min decision to road trip to Key West without a plan, ended up at Geiger Key Marina. As Capt Kevin, mates boat dog Chloe, Glen Mulder & Barbie, were unloading fish from an early morning trip they decided to book an afternoon trip! Kelly kicked mackerel butt landing a 20 lb king , and Patrick released the smallest yellowtail measuring 6″! Limiting out on yellowtail they are excited to fish again soon and bring their kids for an action packed day of fishing

Off the dock almost before the roosters were up, Marcia Rorhbach & David Pritchard (Redding PA) had an awesome morning of reef fishing yellowtail. It was Marcia’s first time fishing yellowtail and she was a trooper! Limiting out they will be eating fresh fish all summer!
