On Friday, Brian and Shannan Duncan (Chesterton, IN) fished the reef with Capt Kevin. They landed 2 nice king mackerel, one weighed 30 lbs , several large bonita and their limit of yellowtail snapper.
On Wed April 21, Burl and Bart Hopkins, John Pilkiewicz(Michigan) and Glen Gray (Westin FL) had an awesome day on the water. They landed a 30 lb king mackerel. several bonita and their limit of yellowtail snapper.
Monday April 19, Wayne Miller and company of Key West fished calm seas and brought in their limit of yellowtail snapper.
Friday am Flave Jones from Key West and friends fished a morning trip and had their limit of yellowtail snapper.
Thurs afternoon Skip Oetzel and friends from Bluewater Key had an awesome trip to the reef. They saw 2 whale sharks, and landed a 20 lb cobia off one of the sharks, and brought in their limit of yellowtail snapper.
The Peters family Dan, Dylan and Katelyn from Manteno IL fished choppy seas with Capt Kevin today. They brought in 30 yellowtail snapper and enjoyed fresh fish for lunch at Geiger Key Marina.
On Thurs. April Fools day.. Don Kempf, Alli Smith, Harrison Carter, and Sheila Kempf from Raleigh NC fished the reef with Capt Kevin. They brought in their limit of yellowtail snapper along with a 5 lb mutton snapper and a 15 lb bar jack. This was their first ever fishing trip on the ocean! Way to go guys!
